Khoodeelaar! No to “Crassly conceived, obsolete, diversionary, uneconomic, environmentally unsustainable London Crossrail hole scam...” CAMPAIGN TOLD YOU SO!
Now, in the past hour, that is between 1345 GMT and 1445 GMT, Peter Kellner’s ‘yougov’ polling outfit has let on that ITS poll of ‘businesses’ in ‘East London’ has shown that the majority of the polled businesses are saying ‘CROSSRAIL is less important...’ Less important than what? ‘Thames Gateway’, of course’! The polled businesses, according to information available so far to KHOODEELAAR! [at 1445 Hrs GMT 7 July 2008] have said that ‘Thames Gateway is MORE important than Crossrail..” Why is this relevant? Because this is the first ‘reliable’ indication [and we do not attach any more importance to Peter Kellner’s outfit than to say that it is a reliable source, in the context of our campaign] from ANY identifiable quarter involved in the monitoring of opinion among people or businesses in any part of London where a view has been expressed about Crossrail. And that view is VERY MUCH what KHOODEELAAR! and OTHER [though less active] opponents of Crossrail have been saying for YEARS! ...[To be continued]
